RADIESSE est indiqué pour une implantation sous-cutanée pour la correction des rides et plis faciaux modérés ou profonds, comme les sillons nasogéniens. Après une injection, les patients peuvent constater quelques rougeurs, des ecchymoses, un gonflement ou d’autres effets indésirables localisés. La plupart des effets secondaires du traitement disparaissent en quelques jours. Des effets indésirables plus rares peuvent inclure un œdème prolongé, des inégalités ou une fermeté de la peau dans la zone traitée. Comme pour toute injection, il peut exister un risque d’infection. Si vous avez des allergies connues, en particulier à l’hyaluronate de sodium et au chlorhydrate de lidocaïne (pour les versions à la lidocaïne) ou à des anesthésiques locaux de type amide, surtout n’oubliez pas d’en informer votre professionnel de la santé avant le traitement. L’intervention UltherapyMD non effractive est approuvée par Santé Canada pour lifter la peau du cou, sur les sourcils et sous le menton autant que pour réduire l’apparence des ridules et des rides du cou et de la poitrine.
