1. Personal Information we collect
“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual (excluding business contact information when used to contact an individual in his or her business role). We collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us (such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and product use information) in requests for information, comments or responses to feedback forms or surveys.

We use Personal Information as set out in this Privacy Statement or as otherwise specified at the point of collection. We also use Personal Information as permitted or required by applicable law (collectively, the “Purposes”). For example, we use Personal Information in order to (a) provide and deliver products and/or services to you, (b) respond to your inquiries and requests, (c) notify you about changes to our products and/or services, (d) protect the rights, property or safety of Merz or website users, (e) invite you to participate in research or (f) send updates that you have requested. Merz will not otherwise use your Personal Information (including for marketing purposes) without your consent.
We may combine Personal Information about you with the Personal Information of others or combine in order to create aggregate information that is used to assess how the websites are being used and how to improve the websites.

4. Cookies and Log Files
We may automatically collect information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the computer’s operating system, the type of browser you use, the speciﬁc web pages visited during your connection and the length of time spent on a website and/or a page. Merz Canada does not knowingly provide products or services to Europeans, nor do we target Europeans with online marketing.
