How Xeomin Cosmetic® WORKS

Xeomin Cosmetic® is a neuromodulator that works by blocking the transmission of signals from nerves to the muscles. This causes the muscle to relax, temporarily giving upper facial lines (frown lines, forehead wrinkles and crows’ feet) a smoother appearance.1,2

Why Purity Matters

Some patients have shown diminished response to their neuromodulator because they develop neutralizing antibodies.2-5

Why choose Xeomin Cosmetic®?

Xeomin Cosmetic® is the only neuromodulator that is scientifically designed to minimize the risk of reduced efficacy.2,5,6 Its double-filtered formula is free of unnecessary proteins so that it when it softens frown lines, crow’s feet and horizontal forehead lines, it does so treatment after treatment, without diminished response.2,6

Rappl Study
In a randomized, double-blind study (N=180), the onset of treatment effect was seen earlier for incobotulinumtoxinA (Xeomin Cosmetic®) compared to onabotulinumtoxinA (BOTOX COSMETIC®) and abobotulinumtoxinA (DYSPORT AESTHETIC®).9
The duration of treatment effect (the time for glabellar muscle activity to return to baseline level) was also reported to be longer for Xeomin Cosmetic® in comparison to BOTOX COSMETIC® and DYSPORT AESTHETIC®.9
Muscle relaxation occurs within 2-5 days after intramuscular injection with an expected maximum effect after two weeks.9
Following treatment, only two subjects reported mild bruising, which resolved within 2 to 3 days. No serious adverse events were reported and there were no treatment-related discontinuations.9
